Backblaze used to be really simple. Backblaze meant one thing, simple, easy to use cloud backup. Then in September 2015 Backblaze launched B2 cloud storage and went from being synonymous with cloud backup to having a little bit of an identity problem. Never lose a photo, video, or file again. Cloud backup made easy and automatic. Backblaze unlimited online backup for $6 per month.
Plex Backblaze B2 Reviews
Backblaze B2 is a storage service, Arq is a storage client. They're different but complementary tools so you can't really compare them. At some point Arq could even support B2, though the most recent record I could find of this suggests that it's not planned right noW: https://twitter.com/arqbackup/status/79880704?lang. Finally, there's no way for your to 'mount' a Backblaze drive like with google drive for Plex access. I haven't looked much into it, but try searching for google drive and plex here and you'll find some information regarding how that works.
Currently testing Plex Cloud with my existing 1TB Dropbox plan.
From a technical perspective it is working great and looks like a very promising alternative to investing in a new local NAS.
But I know there will be more than 1TB of media. Dropbox has an “All the space you need” business plan but you need to sign up for three users. Elsewhere on this forum is discussion of an “unlimited” Google Drive plan, but in my G-Suite Business account they only offer tiered options at 1, 2, 10, 20, 30TB.
I have been using BackBlaze for backup for some time and it has been rock solid.
Is BackBlaze B2 on the radar for support?

Benefits:
Plex Backblaze B2 For Sale
- North of 2TB it is less expensive than Google
- Incremental pricing per GB, so pay for actual use rather than making that 2TB to 10TB jump at 2.1TB of media
- Like S3, this is a low level file storage system rather than a consumer/business file locker with a bunch of other features that are not needed for Plex Cloud
- Predictable terms of service. I see “but they aren’t enforcing it” mentioned a lot in relation to Google Drive. Google isn’t your friend…
